Energy 360 – Fuel Poverty

To provide targeted, personalised information, advice and guidance to disadvantaged residents to

Funded through the Energy Saving Trust, we are working in partnership with Lancashire BME Network to provide targeted, personalised information, advice and guidance to the most disadvantaged residents.

Advice and guidance is provided by staff trained to Level 3 in Energy Awareness. Our aim is to increase awareness and understanding of domestic energy usage and help residents improve the energy efficiency of their homes by introducing energy saving measures.

We provide fuel debt support and have access to all the latest grants available. The project is open to all residents of the borough, and we offer confidential and bi-lingual support.

Feedback from residents who have received our support has been extremely positive –

“I can’t thank you enough for all your help – the grant I received towards my gas and electric debt will make such a difference”

“Thank you for your support with helping me switch energy provider, I did not realise the deals that were available, and I have now saved £79”

“Thank so much for referring me for the Energy Voucher Scheme, my house has been so cold the last couple of days, I did not know who to turn to, I am really looking forward to a hot bath and to sleep in a warm bed tonight”
